Who we are, and what the School of Christ is

We are Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church, part of the Evangelical Synod.

The School of Christ is a complete course of study for spiritual discipleship in the Christian life with God — a set of foundational studies, arranged in sequence and in order, addressed to our spirits and our minds in the form of a programme.

Our dream for this programme and for this site is that God would make faithful and true disciples, understanding the word of God and the purpose of his will, aflame with the work of the Holy Spirit, and fit to carry the message of the gospel to the whole world.

This curriculum, taught by Rev. Sameh Maurice, is suited to being used in our churches as a curriculum for discipleship groups, or in house meetings as a means of spiritual building. Our aim in publishing it this way is that it should be available at no cost and in every possible form, so we have taken care that it is available in writing, in audio and on video.

This curriculum has been taught in our own church and in many other churches, and has also been presented on a number of Christian satellite channels and on the internet over the past years. Through it God has raised up generations of enlightened disciples in Egypt and the Arab world, who have carried — and still carry — the dream and the will of God in their hearts, for the spread of God's work throughout the whole earth.
